Image taken on the night of 10-29-07 from Roswell, Georgia. NGC281 (Pacman Nebula) is located in the constellation Cassiopeia.

I�ve been at this hobby for over 40 years, and I still have what I regard as a swiss cheese understanding of astronomy � in other words, there are LOTS of gaps and holes. Photography has been one of the major gaps. CCD technology overwhelmed me when it became available, but I�ve been �dabbling� in it for a couple of years or so, and I�m beginning to learn my way around.

Your trip to New Mexico sounds like a fantastic way to spend a week!

I�ve never imaged NGC 281, but I have several images of IC1805 � yours is miles beyond what I�ve been able to do! Great shots.
